Hey all.
I just wanted to touch on a few things quick. I am always asked what to do when your pet has gone missing. Contacting local Vet offices, putting up flyers around town, asking neighbors to keep an eye out and posting on our Facebook Page is a great start. Leaving out some of your clothing and some food can really help too. With Cats, it’s important to check nearby garages, sheds, cars/trucks, brush, etc. Usually, when a cat goes missing, they don’t go very far.
With some real arctic air moving into our region, please be sure to not leave your pets outside for an extended period of time and if you have an outdoor cat, please keep them inside. There is a major storm coming into the region starting late-Tuesday, so please keep this in mind.
Lastly, when posting on our Facebook Page about a lost or found pet, please make sure to leave your contact information. This is so vital and I can’t say that enough. State where the pet in question was last seen, the city/town and any other important info that you feel will help find your pet. All of this is aimed at helping find your pet quicker and being able to contact you promptly so that there can be a happy reunion. Thank you and please share this with your friends and family.
I would also like to wish all of you a very Happy and Safe Thanksgiving. Enjoy.
