Good Morning. I’ve noticed a troubling trend the last few weeks and from what I am reading with other Pages, it appears that the organic reach of posts by most Pages, such as this one and many others, is being limited. Facebook is limiting the amount of posts that show up organically in ones news feed. What does this mean exactly? Well, it means that if Lost Pets of The Hudson Valley makes twenty posts about missing/found pets on a given day, you may only see a handful of them. This concerns me greatly. Now this has been happening for awhile now, but it is changing again and not for the better. The more posts that are “Liked” or commented on (such as saying “shared”) helps boost engagement, which in-turn will increase viewership of each post. The last thing we want is for only a fraction of these posts to reach you all. Another way of making sure you see each and every post from us, on top of “liking” and commenting on posts, is to come to the Page itself. That way you are guaranteed to see each and every post. Each post is important and it’s vital for each post to be seen by everyone. Let’s all help keep Lost Pets of The Hudson Valley in your news feeds. Thank you so much for your support.
