OTHER INFO:
Our 1 year-old Siamese kitty, Sammy, broke his right hind leg immediately after we moved from Brooklyn to Beacon on 8/30/19. A week later, on 9/6/19 at 8 AM, Sammy slipped out of his crate on the way to orthopedic surgery and ran away from us down Main St. We last saw him under a minivan parked in the side lot of the Sunoco gas station on Main St. at Elm St. We thought he had climbed up into the engine of the van, but when the fire department opened the hood, we couldn’t see him anywhere. We left a note with the owner of the van, but she hasn’t contacted us to say she’s seen anything to do with Sammy.
It’s been a little over two weeks now that Sammy’s been missing. We’ve put out many forms of alerts to the wider Beacon area, and even to some of the surrounding cities/towns, and we continue to reach out to neighbors every day in the hopes that the more eyes we have looking out for Sammy, the better.
Sammy’s very fearful of strangers; if you see him, please don’t approach him unless he’s totally incapacitated. Please contact me with his whereabouts and condition, and I will come get him or investigate the area. Thank you.
