Hello,
I live in New Paltz and came across this stray (no collar) trotting along the rail trail. She came right over to us and started mewling. We brought her home and took her to get scanned- no chip. I am planning on running her by a vet to have her checked out, but I thought to report her as missing in case she is someone’s “outdoor cat”? (The vet that scanned for her chip said that her polydactyl nail was trimmed, so perhaps someone has been taking care of her?)
Thank you so much for your time and your hard work in organizing this site! I truly appreciate this resource. I hope this post will help me connect this sweet cat to her owner or, if that is not possible, allow me to rehome her.
