My cat, Nuts, was stolen from my laundromat, Colburn’s Laundromat, at 7351 S Broadway in Red Hook on WED, 5/3. I live above the laundromat and didn’t realize Nuts followed me downstairs when I went to check the laundromat. I accidentally left him behind in the laundromat when I went upstairs to my apartment. When I realized he was missing, I looked for him everywhere.and couldn’t find him. A customer in my laundromat told me she saw a woman perhaps in her 50’s carry a cat out of the laundromat and leave in a green car. Unfortunately, she was unable to get the license number. I have my phone number posted on the front entry door of the laundromat as well as the door to the laundromat office. The woman who took my cat could have called to inform me she found a cat in my laundromat but didn’t do that. Instead, she took my beloved cat. I miss him and love him. I’m desperately trying to find him. He is a neutered black, grey and tan tiger striped male cat. He was wearing only a flea collar. He is exclusively an indoor cat. Therefore, he didn’t have a collar with ID. He does not have a microchip. He has allergies and becomes asthmatic for which he receives shots. He is a patient of Better Lives Animal Hospital in Red Hook.
