PLEASE HELP: What happened to Ed?
Location: Poughkeepsie/pleasant valley/hyde park area neighborhood right behind country corners deli
Last seen 6/12 at 11 pm where he was supposedly picked up by police officer and placed in police vehicle. Unconfirmed department. He was injured but extent and mechanism unknown. Neighbor was shown a picture that night and was unable to identify. Ed was alive, but we do not know what the officer did with him after this interaction with the neighbor. We have since contacted every department and every veterinary office in the area with no luck of locating him. We are desperate to know what happened to Ed. Is it true that there is no animal control in Dutchess county currently? If anyone has any leads, suggestions, or is familiar with police protocol please share. I have attached a picture of Ed. We are holding onto hope that he will turn up safe somewhere. Thank you.
