OTHER INFO:
Very friendly with people but also very skittish. Would run away at noises but would absolutely go up to a person , especially if hungry. He likely would have followed you and rubbed up against you purring loudly until he got fed. He may have even ran in front of you and got in your way repeatedly as well.
He pretty regularly closes his mouth so his tongue just barely sticks out.
He won’t react to kibble, he only reacts to the sounds of a can opening, He had issues eating as baby and even getting him to eat wet food took time. Honestly he is not the brightest and is quite bad at acting like a cat.
He was lost this morning the 27th of November, right in the middle of New paltz. he has always been very overstimulated by the outdoors so he likely would have ran off in a direction and hid until he got hungry. He was fed this morning but realistically he is probably getting hungry now and the only way he knows how to get food is what i described. Please any help or news, even if bad would go a long way to helping me sleep at night knowing what happened.
like i said he is quite bad at being a cat so honestly i don’t think he will react to his name but we do also call him “little man” quite frequently and i think he may respond to that more than anything. That being said don’t exclude a cat because he doesn’t react to his name.
