This beautiful cat was a daily visitor to my property on Laguna Road in Lake Carmel for the past several months where he spent most of the day sleeping and playing in the back yard. On the evening of September 25th, 2025, he was viciously attacked by a coyote and hasn’t been seen since. I did witness the attack and was able to scare the coyote off and the cat was able to run away. Unfortunately, I was not able to determine the extent of any injuries to the cat as he ran onto an adjacent property and could not be found. The cat has a clipped ear and appears to be a neutered male but not absolutely sure. It has a very nice disposition but is easily frightened when approached and will not let anyone get close or touch him.
