Injured/Sick Cat Spotted – Kossar & Hill St. (Ellenville)
I spotted this young, possibly unneutered male cat at the corner of Kossar and Hill St. in Ellenville on April 11th, 2026. He is wearing a white flea collar.
He appears to lost and in poor health. He has a noticeable injury/bald spot on the nape of his neck and significant fur loss on his underbelly and back legs. I’m worried it could be mange or another illness/injury.
This cat looks like he’s been having a rough time. Possible ear mites, poorly groomed, hindquarters appear thin and frail.
He is very timid and ran when I tried to approach. Food has been left out, but I have not seen him eating.
