About two weeks ago, this handsome, sweet big boy showed up in my yard… and decided to stay! ❤️ He literally camped out on my patio, made himself a bed with an old blanket, and happily played with and scattered all the dog toys from the basket.
He’s a fawn-colored Boxer/Bully mix with a white chest, about 1–2 years old. He’s completely housebroken, walks beautifully on a leash, and is clearly someone’s much-loved pet. He’s friendly, playful, incredibly affectionate, and an absolute snuggle bug.
He was found near Westchester Ave., between Broad St. and Grand St. in the Fleetwood section of Mount Vernon. He wasn’t wearing a collar or tags, and I had him scanned for a microchip—unfortunately, he doesn’t have one. I have asked around the neighborhood, checked with local shelters and scoured lost-and-found pet pages, but so far, nothing.
