Very nice dog (I believe to be female) walked in the front door of the Homewood Suites by Hilton at Stewart Airport at 3am this morning. I work at the front desk. We are going to have guests coming down to checkout soon and cannot hold it for a long time. We called the New Windsor police department and they said there was nothing they could do until animal control opened (8am). They wouldn’t hold it until then. They even advised us to let it go. We are absolutely not doing that as it’s rainy and dark. It is now my mission to make sure his dog is safe until the owners are found. I also posted to your Facebook page. There is a tag with a number to Banfield Animal Hospital and a shock collar.
