“Robbie” our 4 year old orange tabby disappeared tues afternoon from our home on North Quaker Hill Rd in Pawling. He has a clipped ear, no collar and is quite friendly. He loves water. He is an outdoor cat and while we fear he was hurt and injured, he may have escaped his predator and is loose and lost. He is a tough little cat and so we remain hopeful that he survived his attack.

I recommend beating the woods with a loud voice and maybe even a pan w metal spoon in a wide circle around the house. Coyotes can tree a cat, and they can stay up there for days, but not forever. I did this and got my male tabby cat back after three days gone, an indoor outdoor who knew where hw was and how to get home. it was clear they had him treed as every few steps he took he wheeled around to look behind him and see if he was being chased…NOT his normal behavior.
