OTHER INFO:
We have a male cat, looks to be around 1 to 2 years old on our property and he has been here for about 2 months now. He’s VERY skiddish. Like I’m probably the only person in my entire complex that he will allow to pet him and petting his comes with his stipulations. Last I knew he had some ticks. We’ve tried to catch him by leaving an open cat carrier with food outside, a stray tote, even leaving the door to the building open just so he can get warm and to no avail. I’m scared he’s gonna die with the cold temperatures. We are feeding him so he’s sticking around the complex but winter is rapidly approaching and as much as I love him and would love to see him stay, I love him to much to let him suffer. He is sassy (vocally and behavior wise), a flirt and then some. I’ve named him Buddy. He also will come if he is within the area and he hears my voice outside. Anyways, one of the neighbors has got him a spot in a no kill shelter and we just haven’t been able to catch him as she had to return the carrier. I don’t wanna grab him and then not be able to secure him as I know he’s going to lose the trust we’ve built. I want to see him live and go somewhere where he is loved, a forever home. I would love that to be my home but it’s not feasible nor permissable.
