Testimonials:
“Thanks to this page my best friend was reunited with her pup Skip this morning.”
“I saw a post that had been shared by a friend and thought “what a wonderful page.” I have shared every single post I see. I’ve even gone as far as tagging people I know that live in the area the pet is missing to make sure the person saw it.”
“Found your page through a friend. Now I look everyday and share. It is wonderful to help people get their pets home safe. Keep up your great work.”
“Whoever runs it (Lost Pets of the Hudson Valley) does an amazing job because it’s helped a lot of people. My children are very grateful.”
“Last year as I was headed down 9G towards Poughkeepsie, I saw a little Yorkie running north on 9G. A few people stopped to try to get him, but he was definitely on a mission and knew where he was headed. When I got home from my appointment, I checked on this page and saw him. I immediately called the owners and with my tidbit of information, THEY KNEW where he was headed and found him.”

“As a DCO for Carmel NY, I find your page as a valuable tool for reuniting dogs I pick up running loose. I post pictures of the ones I don’t recognize, and hopefully their families will see the pictures and know their dogs are safe at the shelter for the night instead of wondering where they are, and if they are OK. Keep up the good work.”

“Last November, my dog got out of the fence and took off. She was missing for almost 2 weeks. I shared her picture on Lost Pets of The Hudson Valley and people who “liked” your page saw her and contacted me. I was so thankful I had people who were willing to help me. I felt so heartbroken, alone and helpless. Thanks to your page, I got her back home.”
-Jennifer S.
“A friend posted that her dog was missing. I put a post on this page and an Admin let me know of a dog that Poughkeepsie Animal Control had picked up a block away from a friend’s house. I passed the info on and it was her missing girl.”

“Over the Summer, my mom was coming home and saw an Australian Shepherd that looked exactly like ours. She thought it was ours, but then saw a chain attached to it (we don’t have a chain). She got home and asked if I knew of one missing and I said yes, I saw one on this site that looked like ours and was amazed at how much they looked alike. So we called the owners on the post (dog had traveled about 15 mins from home (car time) they were able to come and get their dog.”
